Educational Approach:
Knowledge as a Foundation for Responsibility
Knowledge provides the foundation for developing informed and thoughtful perspectives. Our educational programs explore both the realities of contemporary Israel and the historical developments that shaped them, combining historical and political context with opportunities for personal reflection, identity-based exploration, and facilitated group dialogue.
Our programs address subjects that remain underrepresented in formal education in Israel, including the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, citizenship and civic identity, the social, political, and historical complexities of Jerusalem, and other pressing public issues. Learning takes place through workshops, guest lectures by leading experts, and in-depth educational tours that encourage participants to engage thoughtfully with the places, people, and stories that shape the region.
Meeting Young People Where They Are
The issues we explore are often sensitive and emotionally complex. Our educational approach is designed to help young people engage with these topics in ways that are thoughtful, respectful, and accessible.
Our programs combine a wide range of teaching methods with dialogue, collaborative learning, and active participation. Every program is designed in close collaboration with our partner organizations and tailored to their educational goals, educational context, and participants.
Expertise and Continuous Learning
Think Again was originally established as the educational department of The Forum for Regional Thinking, an independent research institute. We believe that responsible civic participation must be grounded in accurate, reliable, and well-contextualized knowledge.
Each year, our educators work with thousands of students, young adults, and education professionals across Israel, primarily in schools and pre-military leadership programs. These ongoing encounters with participants, educators, and the realities of the field continually shape the development of our educational programs, ensuring they remain rigorous, relevant, and responsive to Israel's evolving social and political reality.
